10 Daily Bathroom Cleaning Habits for the Housewife Corner
Daily Bathroom Cleaning Habits for a Pristine Space
Keeping your bathroom tidy and inviting doesn’t have to be a daunting task. With a few simple daily habits, you can maintain cleanliness and avoid the stress of extensive cleaning sessions. Here’s a guide on the bathroom cleaning routines that can help keep your space spotless!
1. Keep a Squeegee in the Shower
If your shower has a glass door, a squeegee is essential. After each shower, simply squeegee the door to prevent water spots and keep it looking new, especially in areas with hard water. Wiping down chrome fixtures with a towel can also help avoid water stains. This quick action takes mere minutes but makes a significant difference.

2. Give Your Sink a Quick Rinse and Wipe Every Morning and Night
No one enjoys finding toothpaste or hair remnants on the sink! Getting into the habit of rinsing and wiping down the sink daily is a game-changer. Initially, it might take some effort, but once you see the benefits, it becomes a must-do.

Keeping multi-purpose wipes handy can make tackling toothpaste splatters or soap spots an effortless task.
3. Throw Your Bath Mats in the Washer Regularly
Bath mats can look grimy in just a week. I wash mine every couple of weeks, and they come out looking fresh and clean.

It’s amazing how much brighter the bathroom looks with freshly laundered mats.
4. Take Out the Trash Frequently
Regularly emptying the bathroom trash keeps the space looking sharp and clean. To streamline the process, keep multiple trash bags inside the bin. This way, when you take out the full bag, a new one is already in place.

5. Use Baskets Under the Sink and in Drawers
Baskets are my secret weapon for organizing! They not only look good but make tidying up much easier. Keeping several baskets under the sink and in drawers helps eliminate counter clutter, ensuring your bathroom appears neat.

6. Use a Tray to Manage Counter Clutter
A tray on the counter can help keep your most frequently used items organized. I prefer to limit the items on display, which keeps the space looking clean and orderly.

7. Opt for Liquid Soap Instead of Bar Soap
Liquid soap is my go-to for hygiene and cleanliness. Bar soap can harbor germs and is often unsightly. Instead, I keep matching liquid soap that complements my bathroom decor on display.

8. Keep a Basket for Hand Towels Accessible
I like having plenty of hand towels so they can be easily swapped out, keeping the bathroom looking pristine. A basket in my bathroom furniture filled with hand towels ensures I can quickly change them when needed.

9. Clean the Toilet Regularly
This might seem like a chore, but it can be effortless. I use a disposable toilet wand that simplifies the cleaning process, along with practices like placing Lysol Click Gels and Clorox tablets to keep the toilet fresh and clean.

10. Avoid Throwing Items on the Floor
It’s tempting to toss clothes or towels on the floor when you’re in a hurry. However, taking the time to put them in the hamper or hang them up won’t add much time to your routine, and it keeps your space tidy.
